Herrons donate to DeSoto County Museum

Stewart L. Herron and his wife Dorothy V. Herron recently donated framed photographs and other memorabilia including a World War II rations book belonging to Dorothy Herron to the DeSoto County Museum to be displayed in the Museum's award-winning Military Service Room. The photographs are of Mrs. Herron's family members, Maj. Lyndon Brown Van Hook and Chief Warrant Officer Cooper Nelson Van Hook, whose parents were Nelson Brown Van Hook and Pearl Everline Cooper Van Hook of Cockrum.
