Moore receives Lewisburg fire award

Lewisburg Fire Department Chief David Linville recognized his youngest firefighter Arianna Moore with a plaque honoring her for individual contributions to the department and her community.  Arianna, also known as “Little Bit,” has been a member of the Lewisburg Fire Department for over three years.  Over the years she has accompanied her dad while responding to many calls ranging from grass fires, vehicle fires, motor vehicle accidents and EMS assistance.  She has quickly learned how to jump in and provide valuable assistance to members of the department.  Having received hands-on training on various techniques and equipment operations she has really developed as a first responder. Arianna is Lewisburg Fire Department’s first recipient of their Jr. Firefighter Award. From left are Chief David Linville, Arianna and father Michael Moore.
